In doing business, the process of sending goods is certainly something that cannot be avoided. Goods delivery activities usually occur at the request of the seller to the supplier or from the buyer to the seller. The process of sending goods cannot be carried out if the required documents are incomplete. One of the important documents that must be present in the process of shipping goods is a travel document.
A delivery order is an introductory document for goods to be sent to a customer, generally a delivery order is made by the party that will send the goods. The travel document contains some information consisting of:
1. Shipper’s mailing number
2. Goods and shipping information consisting of:
a. Name of goods Quantity of goods Weight of goods Name and address of sender
b. Destination name and address
3. Signature of both parties

The road letter consists of 3 sheets of paper with different colours and uses.
1. The white sheet is proof that the goods have been handed over to the buyer
2. A red sheet will later be given to the buyer as proof of ordering goods
3. The yellow sheet will be kept by the company as an archive
The existence of a delivery order when sending serves as proof that the delivery is carried out legally, of course this makes it easier for bureaucracy in certain areas when there is checking by officers. This document also serves as a confirmation tool when the goods have been received, or to make insurance claims when damage occurs in shipment.
Because its function is quite crucial, make sure before traveling all the required documents are complete. This is to smooth the delivery process and the accuracy of the goods received by the customer.
